Mill Lane, Stewarts Hospital is a centre located in Palmerstown for adult service users. The centre is committed to providing persons with an intellectual disability with the services that they require, irrespective of their level of need.  Stewart's aim is to support and empower people with an intellectual disability to live meaningful and fulfilling lives by delivering quality, person-centred services, taking cognisance of the person’s dignity and rights, and based on an assessment of need and the services requested by the person, his / her family and community and statutory authorities, including advocates.

This placement was a group placement which involved team teaching and team planning between myself and one of my peers. This placement provided me with an opportunity to develop collaborative skills, differentiation methodologies and organisation. I thoroughly enjoyed this placement and found developing a good rapport with the adult service users was both extremely rewarding and invaluable when it came to adjusting plans to the needs of the group, all of which are experiences which enhanced my use of inclusion and differentiation when it came to planning and preparing for my mainstream classes.
