5th Year Art History Interactive Fun!!

Using buzzers as a fun incentive to encourage student participation worked really well during today's lesson as students were so excited throughout the quiz activity, they were almost jumping up out of their seats with excitement to answer the questions. This fun buzzer quiz allowed me a great opportunity to test their knowledge and understanding of the topics covered throughout this unit.

The use of an exit ticket handout worked really well as it allowed students an opportunity to have a say in what they had learned and what they would like to learn more about, it worked well also as a method of gaining feedback for myself of what activities students enjoy the most and what methodologies I should use more or use less in the future.

The student activity of making a chatterbox study aid worked excellently as a method of revision, allowing students time to recap all of the keywords and new terms they have learned throughout the unit.

The chindogu exercise really really worked well as a quick, fun and engaging way to allow students to think like product designers but also be playful and experiment in ways of thinking in which they might not have experienced before ie. Finding a problem or issue and coming up with a fun useful useless solution or design idea. The student responses to this task were very rewarding for myself as they really seemed to grasp the idea of designing something that is a solution to a problem.
