Numeracy Layers!

Really building on students numeracy skills this week in my 2nd Year Class! The students have been learning about graphic design and all the essential elements and principles associated with it but now it's time for them to put their mathematical skills and knowledge into place within their art work! To facilitate a smooth and inclusive lesson around numeracy I ensured that I provided all students with useful step by step handouts as well as assisting students with one to one help through demonstration, discussion and feedback. The students really loved the typography and by showing them interesting and relevant support studies it motivated and encouraged them to have fun with their letters and typography once they had completed the gridding process.
