Stand Up Week!

This Week is Stand Up Awareness Week! The aim for this week within the school is to promote taking a stand against homophobic, biphobic, and transphobic bullying. The staff and students will all dress in the colours of the pride flag! Linking this in with the colour theory project this week, will work so well as the first students have to bring in primary sources associated with their assigned colour to sketch from in their art class!

Decorating the school with students in between my classes was a rewarding experience as t allowed me to continue building on the good rapport I am consistently developing with my students. I demonstrated to the students how to hang the decorations from the ceiling before allowing them to begin. The students engaged in peer discussion to decide what areas of the school would be best to display the decorations in!
